Meeting held by under the auspices of the National Youth Council, provided by IOM, designed to support youth groups and eradicate young people taking the back way to Europe.

Musa put forward idea of a motorised fishing boat to employ ten youths and provide a much needed regular supply of fish to the community
The grant application was successful and is run but Just Act
November 11th 2016
IOM (International Organisation for Migration) conducted and organised an orientation for 22 young people from members of Just Act in preparation for the project in anticipation of handing over of fibreglass motorised engine boat
24th/ 25th December 2017

The fishing boat and necessary materials were handed over 24th December at Denton Bridge in the Kombos

It was witnessed by some Just Act members and travelled upriver to Janjanbureh starting 25th.

Our charity funded the extensive investigation costs which involved finding prices of all necessary equipment. With out the support of the charity and the increasing recognition and acceptance of it, this bid would have received less attention.
Just Act Gambia and Just Act fully appreciate the role of IOC for their belief in our young people. Thanks also go to NYC for the great opportunity that registration with them afforded this group.
